A car traveling east on Route 4 spun out of control and into a tree Monday afternoon, almost into a Woodstock home.

The car knocked off a few branches of a tree and took out a reflector in the front lawn of the home of Eddie English. There were no injuries.

Woodstock police officer Mark Donka said he couldn’t tell what caused the spin-out. About two inches of snow was on the roads.

English invited the driver into his home to use the phone.
