Police Investigating Stabbing In Killington

Vermont State Police are seeking details in a stabbing that took place at a New Year’s Eve party In Killington.
Troopers were dispatched to a party at 3593 East Mountain Road at about 6:26 a.m. this morning, after receiving a report that a bloody male was located at the side of a road near the home. The man was identified by police as Joseph Tannetta, 32, of Massachusetts and was uninjured. The blood was not his.
Subsequently, police were informed that a man had been transported to Rutland Regional Medical center with several stab wounds. Detectives interviewed those at the party and all, including the victim, refused to give details.
