Police Investigating Stabbing In Killington

Vermont State Police are seeking details in a stabbing that took place at a New Year’s Eve party In Killington.
Troopers were dispatched to a party at 3593 East Mountain Road at about 6:26 a.m. this morning, after receiving a report that a bloody male was located at the side of a road near the home. The man was identified by police as Joseph Tannetta, 32, of Massachusetts and was uninjured. The blood was not his.
Subsequently, police were informed that a man had been transported to Rutland Regional Medical center with several stab wounds. Detectives interviewed those at the party and all, including the victim, refused to give details. Police ask that anyone with information about these events contact Trooper Michael Tietz at (802) 773-9101.
