Region Under Flood Watch Until Friday

The Woodstock area is under a flood watch until Friday morning and a wind advisory Thursday, as a weather system moves through the area.
Unusually high temperatures and heavy rainfall have forecasters predicting flood conditions in store drains, ditches and culverts, due to ice jams. The unseasonable temperatures have set record highs in Rutland and Burlington. It is currently 45 degrees in Woodstock.
The National Weather Service is also predicting a windy Thursday with winds from 20-30 mph and gusts as high as 50 mph.
