WEST HARTFORD — There will be no funeral services for Scott A. Cummings, 54, who died on Jan. 2 at his home.
Scott was born on Aug. 13, 1958, in Windsor, the son of Evin and Jannetta (Magoon) Cummings.
Scott graduated from Windsor High School. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for the Paragon Construction Co. and worked for the Coca Cola Co. in Claremont, N.H.
Scott enjoyed landscaping, fishing, gardening, canning, and spending time with his family and friends.
He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.
Scott is survived by his three sisters, Joan Davis and her husband, Steven of Poland, N.Y., Mary Eagles and her husband, Dennis of Weathersfield and Bette Howlett and her husband, David of Victoria, Australia; his special friend, Renée Bartlett of West Windsor; and a number of extended family and good friends.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Jon Cummings; and a nephew, Brad Davis.
Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, One Medical Drive, Lebanon, N.H. 03756-0001.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock.
