Walk the streets of Paris, be transported to Greece, and roam Latin America, Kentucky and Los Angeles all in one evening! GRAMMY winner John Jorgenson and his Quintet enthrall audiences with original and classic “gypsy jazz” – the dynamic string-driven swing created by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in the 1930s. Jorgenson, also a co-founder of the renowned Desert Rose Band and The Hellecasters, is considered the undisputed master of the gypsy jazz style, even appearing onscreen as Django himself in the film biopic alongside Charlize Theron and Penelope Cruz. The quintessential “guitarist’s guitarist,” Jorgenson is a frequent collaborator with legends like Elton John, Earl Scruggs, Duane Eddy, and Bonnie Raitt, along with such greats as Tommy Emmanuel, Peter Frampton, and Brad Paisley. But the best way to find out what they already know is to experience the magic of a John Jorgenson Quintet performance live yourself!
