On Sunday, from 8 to 11 a.m., state Rep. Teo Žagar will be at the Barnard General Store making coffee and talking legislative happenings.

In this year’s legislative session, Žagar was one of the sponsors on seven bills, including ones that would require labels for genetically modified foods, support equal pay for women and direct state funds toward school lunches for children of low-income households.

The legislature is also wrestling with a $50-$70 million state budget shortfall.
