Man oh man. I appreciate the space and the coverage of the WUHS nordic state championships but there was so much more that was left out. The photo you published was of Graham Melville (a fine skier), not Zane Fields. Also, you failed to emphasize that Woodstock athletes, Fields and Bango, swept individual state titles in both disciplines, skate (on 2/21) and classic (on 2/26). Fields is a sophomore while Bango is only a freshman. In addition, the boys squad is losing one senior and girls team loses two. The future of nordic skiing at WUHS looks bright indeed.
