The Woodstock football team and coach Jim McLaughlin will travel to the Vermont State House Tuesday Feb. 5 to be honored by lawmakers.
Two resolutions will be read, one for the state championship team and another for the Wasps retiring coach.
McLaughlin saved arguably his best year for the last of his 30 years as a coach. He capped off an undefeated season with a 38-18 win against BFA-Fairfax in the Division III state championship game. He finished his career with 211 wins.
Woodstock was honored last year by lawmakers for its 2011 Division III state championship.
