A bill called the “Earned Paid Sick Days” bill, or (H.208) is currently before the House Committee on General, Housing & Military Affairs and would ensure that all those working in Vermont receive paid leave – one hour of paid sick time for every 30 worked. Promoted by the Vermont Workers’ Center, the bill will be up for public hearing Thursday, April 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the State House in Montpelier.
