NORTH HARTLAND — Funeral services for Charles M. Smith, 66, who died April 13 in Zephyrhills, Fla., where he had lived since 2004, will be held at St. Anthony’s in White River Jct. on June 28 at 11 a.m. Rev. Richard Tinney of St. Pius the X will be officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life at Dave and Gail Smith’s in Thetford to follow.
Charles was born in Hanover, N.H., son of William and Evelyn Smith on July 10,1946.
Charles went to high school at Hartford High School and graduated in 1964.
He worked as an installer/repairman for the phone company for 32 years with perfect attendance. He also worked in telecommunications for Dartmouth College from 1997 to 2004.
He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, traveling, and playing golf, as well as countless acts of helping others.
Charles is survived by his son, Tony and daughter-in-law Kelly and grandchildren, Jonah and Molly of Chattanooga, Tenn; his siblings, Sandy, Howard, Barb, Dave and Jim; their spouses, children and grandchildren; also an aunt, uncle and several cousins.
