WHITMAN, Mass. —No funeral services were held for Richard F. Vezina, 72, who passed away unexpectedly on April 24.
He was born in Rockland, Mass in 1941, the son of the late Edmund and Minnie (Loura) Vezina.
He was the husband of the late Bonnie (Lindsey) Vezina of Whitman, Mass, where they had lived for many years before returning to Vermont. He returned to Massachusetts in 2008.
He was a graduate of Whitman High Class of 1958, and worked most of his adult life as a carpenter.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and car racing. His favorite pastime was working on cars with his family and friends. He was a “jack of all trades” and enjoyed helping others whenever he could.
Richard is survived by two sisters, Lorena Cook of Vermont and Marie Nichols and her husband Robert of Kingston, Mass; 15 nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Edmund Vezina and his wife Joan, and was predeceased by one nephew.
