Without any incidents to respond to, the state Emergency Operations Center plans to send staff home Friday afternoon.

The center coordinates with local agencies during weather emergencies and as of 11:30 a.m., no requests for assistance have been made. The center plans to close at 2 p.m., but will have staff available over the weekend.

The National Weather Service forecasts that the worst weather is behind the region, according to the state Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

The Woodstock area is still under a flood watch until 2 p.m. Also, forecasters predict rain will continue to fall for the area until Monday.
