in News,Woodstock

Following complaints from residents, the Woodstock Police Department has warned a solicitor to obey the rules of the permit issued by the village.

At least two residents complained that Daniel Hanson, 19, a door-to-door salesman knocked on their door outside of the permitted hours of 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Hanson is working for a company called Southwestern Advantage, which sells education materials. He has a permit to sell in Woodstock.

Woodstock police have warned Hanson and informed him that further violations of the permit conditions will result in the voiding of his permit and possible fines.
