WUHS Graduation Supplement – Take a look

Staff Report
It’s the weekend Woodstock Union High School students — current and former — have been looking forward to all year. For WUHS’ class of 2013, graduation takes place Friday at 6 p.m. For former WUHS grads, Alumni Day festivities last all of Saturday, with the Alumni Parade at 2 p.m. The Alumni Day celebrations Saturday will include the 71st Alumni Day Parade around the green. This year’s theme is “Family Favorite TV Shows,” and as of Wednesday, 13 classes have entered the parade. Before the parade — and Sunday morning — a pancake breakfast will be held at the Masonic Temple to benefit of the Woodstock Alumni Association. After the parade, the current graduating class will offer hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and candy on the Green.
With alum coming from all across the country for the event, classes will convene after the parade for separate class dinners, barbecues and get-togethers. The Class of ’53 is meeting a Tall Timbers Clubhouse at 5 p.m. for a potluck and B.Y.O.B.; the Class of ’57 is meeting at Spooner’s at 6:30 p.m. There’s also the 50th Alumni Reception at 4 p.m. in the Teagle Library. If your class is having a dinner or gathering, call Betty Frederick at 457-3978 so it can be listed at the dues tent. A listing of class floats for the parade as well as class dinners can be found on page ??. The special graduation supplement can be found inside in a pull out section.
