State police arrested a 27-year-old woman for stabbing a 17-year-old Hartland resident in the hand with a hypodermic needle Sunday.

Paige Lewis, of Hartland, was arrested for assault after police responded to a house on Fork Brook Road around 4 p.m. and found the Hartland teen was stabbed and possibly injected with an unknown drug.

The 17 year old was taken to Mount Ascutney Hospital for evaluation. Lewis was charged with aggravated assault and was cited to appear in court Monday.
