WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — A New Hampshire man pleaded innocent Tuesday to a charge associated with a May 16 fatal accident on Route 4.

Timothy Farewell, 46, was charged with negligent operation after allegedly crossing the center line and running head-on into a car carrying 84-year-old Norma Sawyer and 75-year-old Laura Robinson — both Bridgewater residents. Sawyer died in the accident.
