ROYALTON — A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 12 noon on Smedley Road in Royalton for Robert (Bob) Michael Daly, 62, who died June 27 at his home in Royalton with his wife Judy by his side.
Bob was born in Peabody, Mass. on May 31, 1951, a son of Arthur Daly and Estelle (Bealieu) Penney.
He married Judy (Comer) Daly in Lynnfield, Mass. on Oct. 21, 1972.
Bob raised his children on the North Shore of Massachusetts and enjoyed spending time with his family outdoor camping, hiking and visiting many beaches.
Bob had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and planting landscape around his home. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing after moving to Vermont.
Bob is survived by his wife, Judy Daly of Royalton; his five children and their partners: Angela and Brian Tucker of North Hartland, Justine and Ryan Harrington of Royalton; Tracey Daly and boyfriend, Marc Demeule of Ipswich, Mass.; Lucas Daly and girlfriend, Samantha Fuller of Remsen, Iowa; and Kelly and Chad Quillia of Fort Lewis, Wash. Bob enjoyed spending time with his eight grandchildren: Cole Harrington, Morgan Leonard, Cameron Tucker, Katie Harrington, Kyle Harrington, Addison Quillia, Aubriana Quillia, and Jamieson Quillia. His mother, and stepfather, Estelle and Francis Penney; siblings, Paul Daly, Susan McHale, Debra Doucette and Kevin Daly.
