I have battled poison parsnip for 2 years now on my property. I believe my yellow lab has allergic reactions to walking through it on his paws which responds to prednisone. I try to pull it up long before it starts to flower. I seem to be immune to the plants fluids as I do not have the skin reactions. As the newstory indicated, cutting it will only let it branch out with more flowers. Internet research has recommended keeping property mowed. I wondered if they could grind up the sides of the roadways to try to control it.
