To all Vt. Standard readers and esp. my friends in Reading
,Brownsville and beyond. I believe
I was miss quoted by Miss Savage in the article titled “Country Store ownership changes hands in Reading.” In the first paragraph I supposedly stated that ” there were a lot of dishonest people around.” My reference was to the possibility of having a dishonest employee! 95 per cent of the nearly 100 high school and young adults I employed in 18 years were exceptional, hard working people. Most there first ever job.
I in NO WAY, was making reference to any dishonesty in my valued customers and neighbors in Reading or the surrounding area as Miss Savage article implies.
