False Alarm At Woodstock’s Mascoma Savings Bank

The Woodstock Fire Department climbed on top of the roof of Mascoma Savings Bank after a report of an odor coming from the building Friday afternoon.

Firefighters said the cause of the odor was possibly a loose belt or motor in an HVAC unit.

Firefighters left after the Mascoma Savings Bank’s maintenance person arrived.
