SHARON — A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, Aug. 9 at 9 a.m. at Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center for Charles R. “Chuck” Livingston, 56, who died with his family and friends by his side on Aug. 3 at the Veterans Hospital in White River Jct., after a short battle with cancer. Pastor Millie Reynolds will officiate. Following the service, family and friends are invited to share in a time of fellowship, refreshments, and story telling which will be held at Twin State Roofing Co. in Sharon.
He was born March 4, 1957 in Randolph, son of George R. and Hazel (Wade) Livingston.
After attending school, he wanted to serve his country and enlisted in the U.S. Army.
He married Lori Green of Tunbridge.
Chuck worked a short time with Storm Woodard before working many years as a roofer with Twin State Roofing Co. of Sharon. He worked with many roofers teaching them the roofing trade.
Chuck loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His family and friends were his whole world and he will be sadly missed by many people.
He is survived by Lori Livingston of Claremont, N.H.; three sons, Shawn Livingston of Georgia, Charles Livingston and his wife, Andrea of Cumberland, Maine and George Livingston and his wife, Kali of Sharon; a daughter Shannon Lundy Livingston of Franklin, N.H.; nine grandchildren; a sister, Patty Quillia; three nephews, Bobby, Donny and John and many loving friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, George R. and Hazel W. Livingston; and a sister Diana Huntley.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Boardway and Cilley Funeral Home in Chelsea.
