Woodstock Police Cracking Down On DUIs This Weekend

The Governor’s Highway Safety 2013 Labor Day DUI Campaign has resulted in the arrest of two people so far in Woodstock.

Benjamin Robert, 29, was allegedly driving erratic on Sunday. He was arrested after an officer conducted a DUI investigation on South Rd. in Woodstock.

Justin Michalke, 23, was also arrested for a DUI on Echo Ledge Rd. in Woodstock after Officer Kevin Wilson found his 1999 Green Ford Explorer over an embankment on Tuesday.

An investigation was conducted and Michalke’s DUI is being processed.

The D.U.I. Campaign continues through September and officers will be enforcing speed and equipment violations, impaired and intoxicated driving and seat belt laws.
