$30,000 Of Heroin Found Inside Hartland Vehicle

About $30,000 worth of heroin was found inside a vehicle traveling on Interstate 91 in Hartland Wednesday.

Tyrone Cromer, 20, of Newark, N.J., was initially pulled over for lane violation. He provided a fictitious name to a police officer and was subsequently arrested.

After a search warrant of the vehicle, 1,015 bags — 1.25 ounces — of heroin and a small amount of marijuana was found.

Cromer and the other occupants of the vehicle—Kassim Marsh, Jahlil Marsh and Khamil Marsh of New Jersey and Aliquan Umstead of Springfield, Mass. will be charged for trafficking heroin.
