Jungle Clean Up
Joshua Jarvis of Bartlett Tree Experts spent his Labor Day cutting down knotweed a the “Jungle” in Woodstock. Jarvis had help from the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) stationed in Richmond Vermont. VYCC members come from all around the country, from different life backgrounds but what unifies them is the want to remove invasive plants species, knotweed is one of the worse offenders. Bartlett Tree Experts will come back later and do drip injections to kill the knotweed. The piles of cut knotweed will either be chipped onsite into a truck and hauled away and or be burned or buried.
