Taming the Jungle
Imagine the possibilities for our new Riverfront Park. Join the Sustainable Woodstock East End Action Group for a day of activities at the new riverfront park site. We will start the day at 9:00 am with sprucing up the area by weeding, clearing, and building benches, so bring your tools. At 10:30 we will offer kid’s projects with Marie Hanson. You can learn about invasive species with National Park Ranger, Kyle Jones, river management with Trout Unlimited and the history of the site with Jack Anderson. After lunch we will focus on the water with fly casting and kayaking demonstrations.
