Bradley Paired With Phil Mickelson In First Match Of President’s Cup

The successful Ryder Cup pairing of Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson is back for the Thursday’s first round of the President’s Cup.

The Woodstock native and Mickelson will face Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel in the first-round fourball matches. Bradley and Mickelson won all three matches together during last year’s Ryder Cup, which pits U.S. golfers against European players. U.S. players and golfers from the rest of the world face off in the The President’s Cup.

Twelve golfers qualify for each side.

The pairings are as follows. The first tee time is 11:45 a.m.

Match 1: Jason Day and Graham DeLaet, International vs. Hunter Mahan and Brandt Snedeker, U.S.

Match 2: Bill Haas and Webb Simpson, U.S. vs. Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama, International

Match 3: Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel, International vs. Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley, U.S.

Match 4: Steve Stricker and Jordan Spieth, U.S. vs. Ernie Els and Brendon de Jonge, International

Match 5: Angel Cabrera and Marc Leishman, International vs. Matt Kuchar and Tiger Woods, U.S.

Match 6: Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson, U.S. vs. Branden Grace and Richard Sterne, International
