James Kanzler Obituary, 24

A memorial service for James Clay Hudson Kanzler, 24, who passed away peacefully on Sept. 27 will be held on Sunday, Oct. 6 at St. James Episcopal Church in Woodstock beginning at 2 p.m. A reception will follow the service at the Woodstock Country Club, and a gathering to celebrate Jamie’s life will follow the reception at the Singh home on 763 Calendar Hill Road in South Woodstock.
He is survived by his mother Janine Williamson Kanzler, his father Robert Clay Kanzler, one sister Mary Kanzler, one uncle James Williamson, and his beloved extended family.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or consider a donation to the Vermont Food Bank.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock. Memories may be shared by visiting cabotfh.com

    anyway, we just want to let you know that we’re thinking of you and sending to you our love and condolences…we came down from burlington today (I’m a rabbi now, up there) and we try to come back down to pomfret most weekends…RLee told us what happened, and we saw tista this evening and he confirmed that it was Jamie…
    we’re so very sorry…truely, there is not much one can say in times like this…all we can do is be there for each other with as much loving presence and care as is possible…holding you in our hearts…
