David Moore of Pomfret took an interest in organs when he removed and restored an organ built in 1852 that used to be housed inside the Masonic Hall. That organ is still in use now. Moore went on to build and restore organs as his life work. One such organ can be seen and heard inside the St. James Church in Woodstock. – watch a video of Moore… click here
