As the beginning of 3-5 inches of snow falls in the Woodstock area, reports are coming in of a few vehicles sliding off the road.

Temperatures in the single digits and light snow have made for slick roads Tuesday afternoon. Calls have been going into police about vehicles off the road in Woodstock, Bridgewater and Weathersfield. So far, only one of those accidents has involved minor injuries.

As of 1 p.m. traffic in front of the Woodstock Farmers’ Market in West Woodstock was down to one lane, while a wrecker attempted to tow away a vehicle off the road there.

Update: 1:15 p.m. The vehicle in West Woodstock has been moved off the road.

Snow is predicted to fall Tuesday evening, creating hazardous driving conditions.
