Woodstock always has that quintessential New England feel to it, but it really shows off its Currier-and-Ives-ness during the annual horse parade at Wassail.

For the past 28 years, local horse associations have united for a leisurely stroll through our village, dressed in period holiday costumes, riding horses and horse-drawn carriages.

It’s an event not to be missed. Though if you’re reading this now, you’ve missed it this year.
