Flooding, Ice Jams Possible Saturday And Sunday

National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for most of Vermont, including the Woodstock area, for this weekend.

Rain and temperatures in the 40s could cause flooding and ice jams, according to forecasters, who predict the heaviest rain to fall from Saturday afternoon into Sunday evening.

I live on the kedron valley brook…the ice dams here are a serious threat…and they are moving today because of the melt upstream. Damage and danger potential to homeowners potentially very serious.. I am about 2.5 miles south on RTE 106..
