A sign for a local gas station was damaged after a tractor-trailer clipped it Sunday morning.

The Maplefield’s sign in East Woodstock was hit by an Eastman Trucking vehicle last weekend, according to Woodstock police. Slick roads were the most likely cause of the accident, police said. The sign sits at a hard curve on Route 4.
