Staff report

Thanks to the weather, the anticipation has been building for the biggest game to date in the Lake Division.

The Woodstock boys hockey team, which ranks third in the division at 11-3-2, faces Stowe (11-3-1) on the road Friday at 4:45 p.m. The game was postponed from Wednesday due to a snow storm. The winner of the game will move into first place.

The Wasps haven’t lost a game since a Dec. 27 defeat at the hands of Rutland — Woodstock is 8-0-1 since then.

The Raiders are coming off a 3-2 loss to Middlebury, ending their 11-game streak of games without a loss.
