It’s an honor to present Dan Morgenstern, esteemed jazz scholar and close friend of Louis Armstrong to demonstrate, “The Revolution that was Louis Armstrong.” This NEA Jazz Master, Director of the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers, and seven-time Grammy winner for Best Album Notes, will invite us to know the man behind and within the music. This event is for the community as well as professional and student musicians and artists and will also feature readings and and artwork inspired by Satchmo by Woodstock’s student poets and artists.
