As of 7 a.m., about 1-2 inches of snow has fallen on the Woodstock area Wednesday morning.

It’s relatively quiet — just a few reports of cars off the road in surrounding towns.

The National Weather Service is predicting 6-12 more inches of snow throughout the day. It’s a storm the Weather Channel is calling Nika.

Schools are closed and Wednesday’s high school athletics have also been postponed.

Green Mountain Power is reporting no outages in the area.
