CHARLESTOWN, N.H. — There will be no visiting hours or funeral services for Jo-anne Laurie Wallace, 70, who died Feb. 6 at Springfield Hospital after a three year battle with kidney disease.
She was born in Windsor on July 4, 1943, daughter of Lucian and Virginia Laurie.
She liked to travel, vacation in Maine and read.
The family includes her mother, Virginia Laurie; her children, Halvor Johnson of Rogers, Ark., Sue Ellen Cole of Woodstock, John Johnson Thompson of Sunapee, Jamie Johnson of Unity, Dayle Stillings of Springfield and Cindy Burke of Mountain Grove, Mo; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Potter; and a brother, Lucian “Butch” Laurie.
She was predeceased by her father in 2007; and a brother, Dave Laurie in 2001.
Arrangemetns are with the Stringer Funeral Home and Crematorium, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, N.H.
