POMFRET-Selectboard member Neil Lamson announced he was resigning from the board by email Thursday morning.

Lamson is the second Selectboard member to resign in six months in Pomfret. Selectboard chair Kevin Lessard resigned Sept. 5.

After Lessard left, Kevin Geiger was elected to the board during the intermittent period and served until November when Michael Reese took the position.

Town Treasurer Hazel Harrington also announced she is not running for re-election at Town Meeting.
