Lyndon Beats Woodstock In Division II Final Four Game

The Woodstock basketball team lost to Lyndon, 61-43, in Wednesday’s semifinal game in the Division II basketball playoffs at Barre Auditorium.

The Wasps, the No. 4 seed, trailed the No. 2-seeded Vikings by 20 points in the third quarter before closing with a 12-point run, narrowing the score to 44-38.

But Lyndon kept Woodstock at bay, starting the fourth quarter with an 11-5 run.

The Wasps were making their first appearance in the semifinals since 2003.
