HARTFORD — A Quechee woman has been charged with stealing more than $126,000 from her former employer in Wilder.

Jayne Concialdi, 50, went to the Hartford Police Department with her attorney Thursday where she turned herself in for booking and was issued a citation to appear in court on April 22 to answer charges of embezzlement, forgery, false personation and grand larceny.

Concialdi worked at New England Research, which does scientific analysis of rock formations all over the world for both government and industry clients, and detectives believe she siphoned money from the company over a two-year period before police were contacted.
