Teenager Rescued After Skiing Out Of Bounds

A teenager who skied out of bounds at Killington Ski Resort was rescued in Mendon on Friday afternoon.

Mathew Stewart, 16, of Watertown, Conn. called his father, Scott Stewart before he was located by global positioning satellite near Brewer’s Corners in Mendon after he called Vermont State Police around 3 p.m.

Stewart came out of the woods around 7 p.m. Police say he was fine and uninjured.
