Monday, April 14 at 7 p.m., Stark Decency: German Prisoners of War in a New England Village. Dartmouth professor Dr. Allen Koop will discuss Camp Stark – a World War II prisoner of war camp in located in New Hampshire. Koop, the author of the book Stark Decency, will relate the poignant story of the German POWs who found compassion, and in some cases friendship, with their guards and the members of the community.
