Sustainable Woodstock celebrates its first five years of community service with a public conversation and brunch at Worthy Kitchen on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Sustainable Woodstock invites all area residents to join it as it reviews current projects and consider where to put its energy and effort in the coming year.
Five years ago, more than 70 people gathered for “Our Green Villages,” a community discussion on residents’ vision for the future. Now, as Sustainable Woodstock take stock of our successes and challenges, the group hopes the community will again become engaged in shaping a collective vision.
This public Annual Meeting, held near the anniversary of Earth Day, will reaffirm Sustainable Woodstock’s commitment to working for a more vibrant and sustainable community. The cost for brunch will be $25, but everyone is welcome regardless of ability to pay. Please contact Sally or call 457-2911 to reserve a place.
