Report: Vermont Has Lowest Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Vermont is the most “eco-responsible” state in the U.S., according to the website mylife.com.

The site released a map showing all 50 states, rated by their level of carbon dioxide equivalent units (see CO2e explained here). Vermont’s low greenhouse gas and carbon dioxide emissions (6.1 metric tons of CO2e), combined with its low population, made it the cleanest state in the U.S.
