WEST FAIRLEE — A memorial at the West Fairlee church and spreading of ashes are yet to be determined for Robin Lynn (Small) Lynch who passed away peacefully at home, with her husband and granddaughter at her side on May 11.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1959, daughter of the late Frederick and Joyce (Manning) Small in Randolph.
She graduated from Randolph Union High School in 1977. In 1992, she received her Bachelors degree and Teaching License from Vermont College.
In 1994 she married William Lynch. In 1997 they moved to West Fairlee.
She is survived by her husband, William; as well as her granddaughter, Matika (whom she and her husband adopted); one daughter, Amanda McHugh and her children, Shannon, Kiernan and Amarrah of White River Junction; and one son, Jason Johnstone and his daughter, Audrianna of Barre; one brother, Roderick Small, Sr. and his wife, of Sharon; and two sisters, Bonnie Barnett of Barre and Barbara Allen and her husband of Graniteville; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved very much.
She was predeceased by her father; and two sisters, Linda Small and Cenceal Small.
Robin enjoyed puzzles, Gunsmoke, classic country (especially Merle Haggard and George Jones), her family and God. Nightly prayers were always so important with her family.
