Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Windsor County

Update, 5:11 p.m.: The tornado warning is over, but there’s still a severe thunderstorm warning for southern Windsor County, including West Bridgewater, Plymouth, South Woodstock and Reading until 6 p.m.

The National Weather Service is predicting damaging winds of more than 60 mph and golf ball-sized hail.

The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a tornado warning for central Windsor County including West Bridgewater and Killington until 5 p.m.

The NWS says residents in these areas should “take cover now” and move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
