BarnArts Center for the Arts brings the deviously delicious Broadway
and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS to the
Upper Valley this summer with weekend performances June 20-22 and June
27-29 at the Barnard Town Hall.  Evening shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and
Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
A down-and-out skid row floral assistant (Seymour Krelborn) becomes an
overnight sensation when he stumbles across a new breed of plant that
he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush.  This foul-mouthed,
R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down
and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it BLOOD.  Over time,
though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and
intent towards global domination!  One of the longest-running Off-
Broadway shows of all time, this charmingly tongue-in-cheek comedy has
been produced worldwide to incredible success thanks to Howard Ashman
and Alan Menken who are the creative geniuses behind the pop/rock
musical.
