SHARON — A celebration gathering of life will be held Sunday, June 30 from 3-5 p.m. at the home of Larry and Ruth Mengedoht, 218 Dickerman Hill Rd., North Tunbridge for Christopher William Naumann, 50, who died June 20 at his home in Sharon, after a long battle with cancer. There will be no public calling hours.
He was born April 6, 1964, in Norwalk, Connecticut, son of William Edwin and Pat Michele (Shaw) Naumann.
He attended school in Ridgefield, Connecticut graduating in 1982 from Ridgefield High School.
On Jan. 8, 1999, he married Mary Melody Mengedoht. They lived in Connecticut before moving to Vermont in 2001.
Chris was a master electrician and owned and operated his own electrical contracting business, Christopher Electric.
He enjoyed volleyball, bicycling, motorcycling and kayaking.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Maeve, both of Sharon; two stepsons, Kent Showalter of Houston, Texas and Kurt Showalter of Washington, D.C.; his father and mother-in-law, Larry and Ruth Mengedoht of Tunbridge; and his aunt Sandra Shaw of Waterbury, Connecticut.
