BARTON — A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19 at the Barton Memorial Building on the Green at the junction of Routes 5 and 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for Elizabeth Julia (Morris) Ferlazo of Barton, who died March 2 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire after complications from a stroke.
She was born Aug. 23, 1963, in Concord, New Hampshire, daughter of Robert and Dariel (Smart) Morris of White River Jct.
She graduated from Hartford High School in 1981.
Liz worked for several years in the hospitality business including the Lake Morey Resort and Rhapsody, a family establishment in Bradford.
Shortly after moving to the Northeast Kingdom, she started a 12-year career with the Northeast Kingdom Human Resources. The most recent years she has worked as an Independent Homecare Provider.
Liz’s greatest joys were her two sons, Grant and Clint and her husband, Bob. She loved to entertain and would spend hours selecting special recipes, shopping and preparing meals to be enjoyed by family and friends. Liz loved summers on Crystal Lake and the festivities of the season.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Ferlazo of Barton; two sons, Grant Peyronel, Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class & wife, Danielle stationed in Jacksonville, Florida, and Clinton Peyronel, studying for a degree in Fitness Training also living Jacksonville; a sister, Bobbie and husband, Paul of Woodbury; a brother, Michael and wife, Cynthia of Quechee and their children, Jenny and Mike Jr.
She was predeceased by her mother, Dariel and brother, Blake.
