Worked At Magic Mountain Children’s Center, Enjoyed Fishing, Mudbogs, Cribbage And Having A Good Time
SOUTH ROYALTON — A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, June 13 at 1 p.m. at the Branch View Cemetery in South Royalton
for Jennifer C. “Jen” Kinnarney, 20, who died June 8 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire from injuries she sustained in a four-wheeler accident on June 7. Calling hours will be held, June 12 from 5-8 p.m. at the Boardway and Cilley Funeral Home, 300 VT RT 100, Chelsea.
She was born Sept. 3, 1993 in Randolph, the daughter of James and Gloria (Brock) Kinnarney. She attended school in South Royalton and graduated from South Royalton High School in 2012. She also attended the Randolph Technical Career Center in Randolph, her junior year, enrolling in the Culinary Arts program and her senior year she as a student in the Business Management program. Jen was a pre-school teacher for the last two years at the Magic Mountain Children’s Center in South Royalton. She also worked part time at the M & N Quick Stop in Royalton while attending school.
She played soccer, basketball, and softball in high school and was currently playing on the Sharon Streakers Women’s Softball team in Sharon. She enjoyed fishing, mudbogs, playing cribbage, four-wheeling and having a good time. She made her home with her boyfriend A.J. Potwin and her brother, Joe Kinnarney and his young son, Erik Kinnarney. Jen enjoyed helping to care for her nephew Erik.
She is survived by her boyfriend, her parents and her brothers Joe and Jake Kinnarney, all of South Royalton, a brother Jamie Kinnarney of South Royalton, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents John and Georgianna Kinnarney and maternal grandparents Rollie and Lucy Brock.
