PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida and Tuftonboro, New Hampshire — A private graveside service will be held this month in Boston, Massachusetts for Rosemarie Seigle, 88, who died May 29.
She was born in August 1925 in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Cushing Academy. Rosemarie was married in 1946 and raised four children. She started her own business in 1962 running “Edelweiss Ski Shop” in Reading, Massachusetts. She was one of the first to import European skis and clothing to New England.
Rosemarie enjoyed cooking gourmet meals, interior decoration, high fashion clothing and floral design. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and Jeopardy.
Rosemarie is survived by her four children: Cindy Hinnendael of South Carolina, Susan Moscillo of Massachusetts, John Loring of New Hampshire and Jody Loring of Vermont; two stepchildren, Jeff Seigle of Virginia and Lisa Byrnes of Maryland. Six grandchildren, four step grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive her.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Alden Loring, in 1971 and Harold J. Seigle in 2007.
Rosemarie resided in Woodstock, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Tuftonsboro, New Hampshire.
